In the early 1970’s a group of alarm companies in the St. Louis area formed one of the first Alarm Associations in this country. One of their immediate objectives was to help the police in the development of some of the first alarm ordinances in Ladue, St. Louis City and St. Louis County. Today we have over 30 members that vary in size by company from one and two employee operations to midsize companies to national organizations.
Members of the Alarm Assocation of Greater St. Louis are committed to servicing the public with high quality products and services that help protect lives and property through the detection of certain events. In providing life safety and intrusion detection systems, the Alarm Association members impact their customers, public emergency response agencies, their employees, competitors and the general public.
AAGSL provides networking opportunities through meetings and conferences held throughout the year. These events offer direct access to local dealers, local officials and manufacturers of alarm systems. Membership also provides an opportunity to influence decisions that shape and affect the association and the industry through active participation in local and/or state committees.
AAGSL keeps member companies updated on the latest industry information and local ordinances that impact our industry and provides training typically free of charge to all members’ employees to help maintain the knowledge necessary to effectively service your customers.
AAGSL invites you to be member of our organization to help your company grow and prosper in our industry.
